Our fifth and second-grade scholars enjoyed learning simple coding this week using our new Spheroes.  We are most grateful to Mrs. Cutkomp for taking the time to apply for the COX Communication Grant.  Due to her dedication and the generosity of COX Communication we now have Spheros to use in our Makerspace.   They are awesome.

Clean out your closets and bag up all your unwanted clothing, shoes, purses, blankets, towels, pillows, drapes, throw rugs and stuffed animals.  Bring these bags of clothes to school each Thursday during the month of March and April and help Tijeras Creek.  On Thursday our Student Ambassadors will meet you at the car line and take your bags clothes, tally them for the classroom competition and take them to C3.

Ask your neighbors, grandparents, your parents’ coworkers to go through their closets during the next few weekends.  Empty one drawer a day or one closet a weekend and send those items to school.  The more bags that we collect, the more money Tijeras Creek makes. All proceeds from this collection will go to help pay for Instructional Assistants.
